PostSubject: Hank Worden?   Sun Sep 01, 2013 12:16 pm

I'm looking for 2 movies that are rattling around my brain.
In one the bugler (I'm thinking Hank Worden but could be wrong) gets an arrow right in the bugle.
In the other the main character has a son who is mute who finds his voice at the end to shout a warning to his pa. Which is probably as bad as it sounds but it is bugging me anyway.
So any help would be much appreciated.

In reply to my own question, since no-one else has, I have happened on one of the movies I was looking for.
'The Proud Rebel', directed by Michael Curtiz, starred Alan Ladd and his son David as father and mute son. The boy finds his voice to shout a warning to his dad at the end, saving him from being shot by Harry Dean Stanton, no less.
I just came upon it in a book, so a big thank you to me.
I am still hoping for an answer for the other one.
