My favorite Clint Eastwood film as well as my favorite American Western. On the downside, it has a terrible soundtrack IMO! Any other thoughts?

I can't agree with you on the soundtrack for this film. I think it is very good. I purchased it on an LP back in the 70's and still listen to it today. This one, along with "High Plains Drifter" should have been released on Cd long ago.

Not much on the soundtrack, but the film itself is one (if not the best) of Eastwood's best IMO.
